Accounts Module

Accounts Module is used to store and maintain daily business transactions like sales, purchases, receipts, payments, purchase returns, sales returns, bank deposits, withdrawals etc.

Accounts Module maintains 'Double Entry System of Accounting', i.e. both cash and credit transaction can be entered. For every transaction the debit total and credit total must be equal.

Main features available are:

  1. Account Heads :

    Account Heads contains basic primary Group such as Assets, Liabilities, Income, Expenses and Capital.

  2. Ledgers :

    A Ledger is the actual account head to which you identify a transaction. All accounting voucher entries are done using these ledgers.

  3. Bank Accounts :

    Bank Accounts maintains list of banks Information that company uses for transactions. User can maintain list bank Deposits and Withdrawals informtion.

  4. Tax Category :

    Tax Category defines classifications of Taxes. A tax Category is assigned to products so the appropriate Tax Rate can be derived.

  5. Tax Rate :

    Enables to define the tax rates for the different tax category which user has created. Help the use to know easily the total tax amount paid or received under each rate wise or undereach category.

  6. Cost Center :

    Any unit of Organiation to which transcations can be allocated.When cost or expenses are allocated , they are refered as Cost Center.

  7. Accounting Year :

    Accounting Calendar window allows to define the calendars and periods that will be used for Reporting and period control.

  8. Ledger Details :

    Ledger Details provides the Ledger entries details.

  9. Account Settings :

    Options to format the reports relating to sales or purchase like: Grand Total, Freight Amount and Other Charges.

  10. Voucher Entry :

    All sorts of accounting entry can be made in this section. Has 6 different types of vouchers like :-

    1. Journal Entry
    2. Receipt Entry
    3. Payment Entry
    4. Contra Entry
    5. Credit Note Entry
    6. Debit Note Entry
    7. All Entries : To view / search/ print the entries made earlier.
  11. Bills Payable:

    Bills Payable provides the window that allows the user to view the list of bills to be paid by the organization.Double clicking on one of the row, allows the user to view the Vendor Invoice against which the payment has to be made. Payment can be made either by cash or Cheque or both. And posting of this entries can be done in this Window.

  12. Bills Receivables:

    Bills Receivables provides the window that allows the user to view the list of bills to be receivables by the organization. Double clicking on one of the row, allows the user to view the Sales Invoice against which the amount has to be received from the customers. Accounts posting of this entries can be done in this Window.

  13. Bank Reconciliation:

    Bank Reconciliation is one of the pre-requisites of Auditing anf verification of the correctness of accounts at the year end. The user needs entry the bank date on which the particular bank transcation is cleared by the bank. The need to verify the bank statement along with the entry made.

  8. Purchase Report

    The user can get Customized report by using 'Customiser button' on Report preview window.
